The Sunshine Blogger Award

sunshineI’ve received my first award! Thank you Bernice a.k.a SpiritualJourney17 for the nomination! You can read some of Bernice’s amazing work at https://spiritualjourney17.wordpress.com/about/ . As a result of my nomination, I have to answer these seven questions:

  1. What matters most to you?

Love

  1. When is the last time you’ve gone outside of your comfort zone?

Last week; I know it may seem small but driving in the middle of the Christmas rush is just overwhelming for me.

  1. What painful situation are you now most grateful for?

Losing loved ones. Loss has taught me the importance of life, giving and gratitude. We don’t know how long we have on earth and I try to take every chance I can to show loved ones how much I care.

  1. If you could meet one person from any period in history (it may even be fictional), who would it be?

My paternal grand-father, he passed away before I was born.

  1. What’s your favourite quote?

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned. -Buddha

  1. What is your favourite thing about blogging?

I enjoy writing about various topics. I also love reading comments from readers explaining that my writing has challenged them or that they enjoyed the piece. The interaction you have with readers is priceless.

  1. What are your goals for your blog in 2016?

My aim for 2016 is to write about a diverse array of topics. I hope to engage readers from all walks of life and around the globe.

  1. Thanks Sharon. This sure looks like fun. I have to answer the same questions, right? And display the same picture as you have? I will create a post as soon as I finish off some articles that are currently demanding my attention.
